Choctaws march past Spring Hill, 3-0
Box Score CLINTON, Miss. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team lost to the Mississippi College Choctaws in a 3-0 Gulf South Conference (GSC) outcome at Robert P. Longabaugh Field on Friday afternoon.

The Choctaws (9-6-1, 4-5-1 GSC) broke the scoring ice in the 28th minute with Macey Lee's eighth goal of the year off an assist by Eri Unai. Lee later added both assists to Sayit Mejia Bello's ninth and 10th goals of the season in the 79th and 82nd minutes.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dalessio (1-7-1) of St. Petersburg, Fla., made six saves in the face of 25 shots and three corners by the Choctaws while Melanie Hummert (1-3) picked up the win with four saves against seven shots and four SHC corners.

Spring Hill (3-9-2, 1-8-2 GSC) will next wrap up its 2014 conference schedule in Cleveland, Miss., versus the Delta State University Statesmen (2-10-1, 0-8-0 GSC) on Sunday at 1 p.m. on Delta Field.
