Box Score The Spring Hill College women's soccer team lost to the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Chargers 5-0 in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) match at Library Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Chargers (5-8, 4-5 GSC) led 2-0 at the halftime intermission after Alexcia Alexander scored in the 25th minute from three yards in front of the goal off an entry pass from the near right side by Khadijah Jannah and Marie Blunt headed in a corner kick by Riley Ridgeway in the 37th minute.
Alexander added her second goal with an unassisted strike from eight yards out in the 62nd minute as Jannah tacked on the fourth and fifth goals when she first cleaned up a stopped shot off the foot of Ridgeway in the 76th minute and then knocked in a score in the 85th minute off a long pass by defender Alex Peterman over the SHC defense.

Abby Massengale (2-2-1) of New Orleans, La., took the loss with three saves while junior
Maggie Dalessio of St. Petersburg, Fla., added three saves in relief. Together the SHC keepers faced 18 shots and seven corner kicks.
Larae Breaux picked up the win with seven saves against 15 shots and three corners by the Badgers.
Spring Hill (3-8-2, 1-7-2 GSC) will next play GSC foe the Mississippi College Choctaws (8-6-1, 3-5-1 GSC) in Clinton, Miss., on Friday at 1 p.m.
