Fernandes, a redshirt freshman forward on the men’s soccer team, recorded two goals in the Badgers’ 2-0 victory over Shorter University on Thursday and provided the game-winning assist into the box for the 1-0 overtime win over Lee University on Sunday. For the year, he is second on the team in three offensive categories: goals scored (5), assists (4), and total points (14).
