Statkewicz, a sophomore golfer out of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile won the individual championship of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) Fall Invitational at Windance Country Club in Gulfport, Miss., on Monday and Tuesday over a field of 92 competitors with a 3-under-par 141 (66, 75).
