Kausin, a sophomore third baseman from Salinas, Calif., went 8-for-22 (.364) in seven games this week as the Badgers went 5-2 in a road doubleheader at William Carey and in the Gulf Coast Invitational in Gulf Shores, Ala. She scored two runs and collected four RBI while striking out just two times. For the year, she is hitting .297 in 22 starts with eight runs scored, 10 RBI, two doubles and a triple while fielding at a .931 pace.
