Ainge joined the Spring Hill coaching staff in 2025 from the University of Jamestown, where he served as a graduate assistant. In his time with the Jimmies, he worked with the both men's and women's goalkeepers. Under Ainge, UJ saw a women's goalkeeper take home a Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament MVP award.

Multiple goalkeepers that have developed under Ainge have moved on to professional careers in Argentina and in the United Soccer League 2. His coaching experience also includes club, ODP and academy settings.

Ainge earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Jamestown.
