Anthony Perea-Quijano, ATC

Anthony Perea-Quijano, a Pensacola, Fla. native, graduated from The University of West Florida with his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2019. He went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Athletic Training in May 2024 at The University of West Florida. While pursuing his Master’s, he was given recognition with a Lifesaver’s Recognition at the Athletic Training Association of Florida symposium in July 2023. 

During his graduate degree, he obtained a wide variety of experience working different clinical rotations in athletic training. In the Fall of 2022 he assisted alongside the Andrews Institute athletic trainers with UWF’s football team where they went to the Semi-finals against Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. In the Spring of 2023 he assisted in a split rotation working the first half of the spring with Milton High School and the second half at Pensacola State College during the Baseball and Softball season. He then took on a full immersion at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee with their Division III Football team’s season. His final semester in the Spring of 2024 he did another split rotation starting off with Dr. Hackel with North Florida Bone and Joint/Andrews Institute doctor’s office and finishing the spring semester at his alumni high school Pensacola Catholic High School. 

Anthony has worked at Spring Hill College for two years, starting in the fall of 2024 and continues to enjoy assisting the student-athletes. In his past time he likes to workout, collect sports-trading cards, tend to his 19 ducks and 7 dogs, and enjoy good eats.Â
