Sam Rand joined the Badger athletics staff in January 2019. Sam has been competitively playing online games most of his life and has had notable achievements in a variety of different titles. He has reached rank Legend in Hearthstone, Gold I in League of Legends, Platinum in Overwatch and has attained similar ranks in a variety of other competitive games.
 
With extensive experience building computers, managing social media platforms and streaming sites, Sam hopes to not only coach first-class athletes but also teach them the basics of streaming and managing an online brand, a skill that is currently essential to eSports ambassadors.
