    Volunteer Coach Beach Volleyball
Ian Bicko came to SHC in January 2020, bringing with him a diverse background after having coached on both the women’s and men’s side of the game, as well as indoor and beach; varying between the collegiate, high school, and club levels. He came to SHC after a successful tenure as the Volunteer Assistant Coach with Lincoln Memorial Men’s Volleyball finishing No. 16 in the NCAA Division I and II combined rankings, and No. 3 in the exclusive Division II rankings. Bicko primarily worked with blockers and implemented the defense at the net, finishing as the No. 2 blocking team in the country. Outside of winning the Independent Volleyball Association (IVA) Championship, LMU also finished No. 1 in the nation in OH attack percentage and No. 2 in aces per set.

Bicko was the Head Coach at Davidson High School in Mobile for three years while working toward his B.S in Political Science for the University of South Alabama. In his personal life, he competes on the AVP qualifier circuit and recently had the "humbling opportunity" to train consistently in the sand with John Hyden as he makes a push for the 2020 Olympic Games.
