Meyer came to Spring Hill from the 212 Academy, where he served as lead assistant coach of the national team from 2023-24. In his time there, he helped lead the team to a runner-up finish in the state tournament and a 24-9 overall record. He also developed 18 players that went on to get recruited to play college basketball.

He also served as head coach of the Sarasota Lions professional basketball team during the 2023-24 season. Under his direction, the Lions achieved a perfect record, Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player.

Three of the Lions players were recruited by professional teams in China, Armenia and Canada. One of those currently plays in the ABA.

Prior to his time with 212 Academy and the Sarasota Lions, Meyer served as a student assistant at DePauw Unviersity from 2022-23.

His career began in 2021, when he became a volunteer assistant coach at Chaminade College Prepatory School.
