WEST POINT, Miss. -- The Spring Hill College men's golf team finished 10th out of 11 teams at the Dunning Invitational, carding a three-round total of 890 (299-292-299) at Mossy Oak Golf Club.

Valdosta State claimed the team title with an 848 (283-283-282).

Nick Kelsey led the Badgers individually, finishing with a 218 (+2) after rounds of 73, 71 and 74. Kelsey posted Spring Hill's low round of the tournament with a 1-under 71 in the second round.

Nicholas Haber followed with a 225 (+9), shooting 77 in the opening round before posting a 71 in the second round and a 77 in the final round.

Christopher Janson finished with a 226 (+10), recording rounds of 74, 77 and 75.

Nicolas Thapar carded a 227 (+11), with rounds of 75, 73 and 79.

Kevin Tobergte rounded out the Spring Hill lineup with a 237 (+21), shooting 83 in the first round, 81 in the second and a team-best 73 in the final round.

Next Up: Spring Hill will return to action Oct. 19-20 at the La Tour Intercollegiate at LaTour Golf Club in Thibodaux, La.
