Inclement weather forced the postponement of the second day of the 2026 SIAC Softball Championship, pushing the Spring Hill College softball team's next game to Wednesday.

The Badgers won their first and second round games on Monday to advance to the winner's bracket final, taking down the East Division three seed Savannah State, 8-0, before knocking off the East's top seed Albany State, 3-1.

Spring Hill will now square-off against Fort Valley State on Wednesday, April 29th at 1 p.m. If the Badgers prevail, they'll advance to the championship game, now set for Thursday, April 30th at 1 p.m. If Spring Hill falls to Fort Valley State, they'll play on Wednesday in the loser's bracket final at 7:30 p.m.
