JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Spring Hill men's basketball team was hit with a SIAC loss on Thursday night, falling 78-62 at the hands of Edward Waters.
Brian Harris led all scorers with 25 points, adding 10 rebounds to round out his first double-double in a Badgers uniform.

The loss drops the Badgers to 2-19 on the season, including a 2-15 mark in SIAC action. The Tigers sweep the season series against Spring Hill and now stand at 12-11 for the year.

Spring Hill controlled the opening tip, and
Collin Coates started the scoring with a triple, but Edward Waters followed with an 11-0 run. The two teams went back and forth for the duration of the first half, with the Tigers carrying a seven-point lead into the locker room at the intermission.

The Tigers opened the second half with a three-ball on the first possession to go up by 10, setting the tone for the rest of the night. EWU connected on 54% of their shots from the floor the rest of the way to pull away by as many as 19, closing out their fourth win in their last five games.

- Harris' 25 points were a career-high, with Alvin Cole following with a dozen point of his own.
- The Badgers won the turnover battle by a slim 9-8 margin, but the Tigers outrebounded their guests 43-35.
- Edward Waters was led offensively by Jaelen Nelson's 19 points, including 15 from behind the arc. He was one of four Tigers to score in double-figures.
