TUSKEGEE, Ala. – A back-and-forth affair early from the Spring Hill College men's basketball team and the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers gave way to a win for the home team, as Tuskegee grabbed a 77-62 win Wednesday night in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action in James Center Arena.

The opening minutes of the contest featured eight ties or lead changes before a three-pointer from
Alvin Cole, free throws from
Ruben Bos, and a layup from
Rocco Lamuno put the Badgers ahead 18-12 with 12:33 on the clock.
After another tie and lead change in favor of Tuskegee, the Golden Tigers pushed ahead on a 25-6 run to take a 19-point, 45-26 lead to the half as PJ Walker hit a three to end the half.
In the second half, after the lead reached 22 points, the Badgers attempted to chip away at the lead and came as close as within 13 points after a dunk from Bos cut the tally to 58-45 with 10:03 on the clock.
TU pushed the lead back up to 22 points following a three from Roy Obsaint with 3:07 on the clock. However, the Badgers stayed persistent and used a three-pointer from
Nikoloz Abuladze to cut the lead to 77-67 with 54 seconds left, which held as the final tally and a win for the Golden Tigers.

Rocco Lamuno was electric for Spring Hill as the sophomore posted 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting, while adding seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Ruben Bos reached double figures with 13 points alongside five rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal.

Collin Coates led on the boards with nine rebounds and added six points.
- Spring Hill shot 35.9 percent (23-of-64) from the floor, 33.3 percent (9-of-27) from beyond the arc, and 70 percent (7-of-10) from the free throw line.
