Seven Badgers named to 2024-25 NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Collin Coates, Luka Erdtmann, Rolontae Knowles, Eli Lenihan, Walter Peggs Jr., Timothy Reilly and Jayden Webley were all named to the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Thursday. The Spring Hill College men's basketball team also earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. 

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The seven individual awards mark the most in a single season in program history.

Coates earned a spot on the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team and his first honors court nod after posting a 3.45 GPA. The Baton Rouge, La., native accomplished this while pursuing his degree in supply chain management.

Erdtmann recorded a career-high 49 defensive rebounds, seven blocks, eight steals and 85 free throw percentage. The Berkeley, Calif., native finished his management/marketing degree with a 3.57 GPA, earning him his second honors court award and a spot on the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team.

Knowles was named to the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team and garnered his second-straight honors court award. The senior out of Abaco, Bahamas completed his digital marketing degree with a 3.44 GPA.

Lenihan received SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic honors and his second honors court nod in a row. The Cork, Ireland native averaged a career-high 3.4 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game this season. Lenihan owned a 3.68 GPA while completing his financial economics degree.

Peggs was named a BOXTOROW DII HBCU First Team All-American, which marked the second-straight All-American honor of his career, after another electric season. The Jackson, Tenn., native broke the team's two-year career points per game record, averaging 21.3 games over two seasons. He ranked third in NCAA Division II with 26.4 points per game. He drained 105 3-pointers, ranking second nationally in threes per game (4.04) while shooting 42.8 percent from distance. Peggs finished his sports management degree with a 3.43 GPA, earning him his second career NABC honor.

Reilly earned both CSC Academic All-District and NABC honors for the second-straight year. The Saint Petersburg, Fla., native tallied a career-high 302 points, 117 baskets and 12 steals. Reilly also sot a career-high 36 percent from beyond the arc. He finished his biology/pre-health degree with a 3.67 GPA.

Webley earned his first honors court award after a career season. The Alberta, Canada native totaled 113 points, 21 blocks, 68 rebounds and shot 36 percent from the charity stripe.
