Lyles Inks Deal with Selfoss Karfa
MOBILE, Ala. – Former Spring Hill College men's basketball guard Steven Lyles has signed with Selfoss Karfa, a semi-professional team in the Icelandic men's 1st division.
 
The Johns Creek, Ga., native played four seasons for Spring Hill from 2021-25. Lyles eclipsed 1,000 career points during his playing career, totaling 1,138, which was good for 32nd on the program's all-time scoring list.

Lyles holds the team's Division-II era career steals record with 88 and single-game steals record with seven against Mobile on November 12, 2022. He shot a career-high 32.3 percent from beyond the arc this season while averaging a career-high 17.3 points per game.

The two-time National Basketball Players' Association (NBPA) Top 50 Camp invitee and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) All-Conference Third Team honoree also recorded a career-high 467 points, 181 rebounds and 68 assists during his senior campaign. Lyles' professional signing marks the sixth under head coach Craig Kennedy.
