MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College softball's
Rycca Hinton earned a spot on the Division 2 Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Softball All-South Region Softball Team.
The SIAC Player of the Year and tournament MVP, Hinton also earned an all-conference honor at the outfield position. She dominated at the plate and the base pads against conference opponents.
The Mobile native finished with a .344 batting average while getting on base nearly half of the times she was in the batter's box. She also ranked in the top-15 in Division II in home runs (16).
The senior outfielder led the SIAC in home runs per game, RBIs (46), runs (54), slugging percentage (.755) and total bases (120). Hinton tallied 34 stolen bases, which was good for second in the conference.
