ATLANTA – Three Spring Hill women's track & field student-athletes earned SIAC All-Conference honors, the league announced Tuesday.
The honors marked the fourth-straight year that SHC has landed spots on the all-conference team. Two freshmen,
JaTerralyn Hamilton and
Ariana Sprinkle, earned spots on the all-conference first team after making noise in their debut season.
After a record year, Hamilton took home the conference's first team honor for her 100m dash time. The freshman from Faith Academy broke a seven-year-old program record at Troy's Doc Anderson Invitational with a blazing time of 11.61.
Sprinkle, the freshman out of Mobile Christian, took the top pole vault spot in the conference with her personal-best mark of 2.50m at the Mississippi College Spring Classic.
Abigail Remick earned her fourth all-conference honor in a row. The Hoover, Ala., native and Hoover High School product recorded her season-best mark of 2.30m at the Mississippi College Spring Classic.
