Badgers Split First Day of SIAC Round-Up II

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's tennis team opened the SIAC Round-Up II with a 7-0 win against Fort Valley State, before falling 4-3 to Benedict at the Mobile Tennis Center on Wednesday.
 
The Badgers completed their season sweep of the Wildcats. Spring Hill sits at 5-11 and 5-4 in conference play after the loss to Benedict, who improved to 7-6 and 7-2 in SIAC play.
 
Brooke Powers captured singles wins on court No. 2 in both matches. She leads the team with a 7-7 record on the season and is undefeated (3-0) on court two.
