MOBILE, Ala.- The Spring Hill College Softball team extended its win streak to 10 after sweeping the United States Sports Academy (USSA) in Monday's non-conference doubleheader at Murray Field.

Spring Hill (13-11, 9-1 SIAC) was in a pitching battle with the Eagles (4-19), with only eight combined hits between the teams.
Offensively, the only run of the game came in the second with an RBI double from Rycca Hinton.Â
Five other Badgers were also able to find the hit column as well in the game.
Leighanna Turk (4-3) pitched the complete game while only giving up two hits and striking out four.Â
Spring Hill 5, USSA 2Â
Emma Curry (W: 6-3); Ryleigh Merritt (L: 2-10)
In the second game, Spring Hill had a late surge in the sixth to secure the win over USSA.
In the sixth, Oscha Carter and Kayla Coley-Drayton capitalized on errors from the Eagles to put the Badgers up two. Later that inning, Hinton secured the game with an RBI single.
In the circle, Emma Curry (6-3) struck out five in her complete game against the Eagles.
