YOUNGSVILLE, La. – The Spring Hill College beach volleyball team finished its weekend at the Sugar Beach Bash with a 4-1 loss to Southern Miss at the Youngsville Sports Complex on Saturday.
 
The Sandy Badgers (8-7) were overcome by the Golden Eagles (8-12). Two of the five flights went to three sets, but Spring Hill fell in both by margins of less than five points.
 
Reagan Huff and Ashlyn Whiteside claimed the lone point for SHC on court four, 21-17, 21-15. The pair now leads the Sandy Badgers with an 11-3 record on the season.
