Spring Hill Stunned on Senior Night by Dragons

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell 72-55 to Lane in Saturday's SIAC matchup at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
 
The Badgers (6-15, 5-10 SIAC) kept things close through the end of the first quarter. The Dragons (14-7, 9-5 SIAC) pulled away in the second and third quarters.
 
Despite outscoring Lane in the final quarter of play, shooting 46 percent from the floor and 75 percent from distance, Spring Hill fell on its senior night.
 
Kellyn Hunter led SHC in scoring with 14 points and was perfect (8-8) from the free throw line. Claudia Garrido and Laurie Sever followed with eight points apiece.
