HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill College beach volleyball team was defeated by No. 8 LSU and Southern Miss during the final day of the Beach Burg Invitational at the Southern Miss Beach Volleyball Complex on Saturday.
 
The Badgers (0-3) were swept by the top-10 Tigers (4-1). Emma Grace Payne and Addisyn Tolbert took their opponent to three sets on court five. Ally Lane and Elizabeth Hardouin did the same on court three.
 
Southern Miss (1-4) dropped a point to Spring Hill on court one. Jaylyne Bell and Brooke Borgmeyer defeated their opponent 21-19, 21-12.
