HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill College beach volleyball team fell 5-0 to No. 6 Florida State in the 2025 season opener at the Beach Burg Invitational on Friday.
 
The Badgers (0-1) were swept by the top-10 Seminoles (3-0). Ashlyn Whiteside and Regan Huff put up a strong fight on court four. Emma Grace Payne and Addisyn Tolbert followed up with an even tougher three-set battle on court five.
 
Ally Lane and Elizabeth Hardouin suffered a two-set loss on court three. Jaylyne Bell and Brooke Borgmeyer didn't give up any easy points on court one. Kamble Frenette and Marissa Peck also fought hard on court two.
