MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team fell to Miles, 79-63, in its final regular-season home game at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Monday.

The Badgers (8-13, 6-10 SIAC) had a very strong start, scoring 14 of the game's first 19 points. Spring Hill led the SIAC west division leader Golden Bears (19-3, 14-1 SIAC) up until the closing seconds of the first half. Â

Miles scorched ahead by 11 points in the first five minutes of the second half. This gave the Golden Bears the edge they needed to defeat Spring Hill.

Walter Peggs Jr. led all scorers with 29 points behind five 3-pointers and 6-6 shooting at the free throw line.
Steven Lyles followed behind with 13 points and tied
Eli Lenihan for the game lead with three assists.
