MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell 64-60 to Savannah State at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Saturday.

The loss moves Spring Hill to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play. Savannah State improved to 6-2 overall and 5-2 in the SIAC.

SSU opened the game with a 15-9 lead after the first quarter and maintained a lead throughout. SHC battled in each period and closed the margin late but was unable to overcome the deficit down the stretch.
