Badgers Drop SIAC Opener to Morehouse

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team dropped the SIAC opener to Morehouse 83-60 Saturday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
 
After a close opening half, the Badgers (0-3, 0-1 SIAC) were outscored 52-25 by the Maroon Tigers (2-2, 2-0 SIAC) in the second half. Spring Hil battled but was unable to overcome the deficit and fell to Morehouse in its home opener.

Match Notes
- Alvin Cole led the badgers with 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor and a perfect 2-for-2 night from both the free throw line and distance.
- Rocco Lamuno and Amaan Sanni both posted 14 points apiece, Sanni was also perfect (4-4) from the charity stripe.
- Stephon MacDonald dished out a team-leading three assists.
- SHC battled and totaled 24 points in the paint.
