BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team narrowly fell on the road 83-80 in overtime to in-state Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Miles at Knox-Windham Gym on Monday.

The Badgers (7-11, 5-8 SIAC) had a slow start, trailing the Golden Bears (15-3, 11-1 SIAC) 34-26 at halftime. 50 percent 3-point shooting and 45 percent shooting from the floor in the second half brought Spring Hill back in the fight, who tied with Miles 68-68 by the end of regulation.

The Golden Bears jumped ahead quick in the overtime period and maintained their lead to defeat SHC, 83-80.

Walter Peggs Jr. led the contest in scoring for the third-straight game, scoring 19 points.
Steven Lyles scored 15 points and tied
Jayden Webley's team-leading seven rebounds.

Jaden Emory recorded a career-high 14 points and a perfect (4-4) night at the free throw line.
Timothy Reilly was perfect from distance (3-3) and picked up 13 points.
