Badgers Fall at Home to Lady Magicians

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell 52-44 to LeMoyne-Owen at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Monday.
 
The Badgers (5-10, 4-4 SIAC) and Lady Magicians (4-12, 2-7 SIAC) battled to an 11-11 tie through the first quarter. LeMoyne-Owen narrowly took a 22-21 lead into the halftime break.
 
Spring Hill was outscored (13-8) in the third quarter and tried to get momentum going in the fourth, but ultimately fell 52-44.
 
Marta Duda led all scorers with her fourth double-double of the season, highlighted by 12 points and 10 rebounds. Duda also had a perfect night at the free throw line (6-6).
