MOBILE, Ala. – Former Spring Hill College men's basketball player Georgios Kostikas has signed with Filippos Veroias Basketball Club, a Greek professional basketball club in the Greece-National League 1.
 
The Central Macedonia, Greece native played four seasons for Spring Hill from 2019-2023. Kostikas shot a career-high 52.6 percent from the floor during the 2022-23 season and was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
 
In 2021-22, Kostikas averaged 2.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game across 14.7 minutes per game. He made nine starts across 23 appearances and was recognized as a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court.
 
Kostikas was a four-time member of the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team and earned a spot on the SIAC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team as a freshman.
