Five Badgers named to 2023-24 NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Luka Erdtmann, Rolontae Knowles, Eli Lenihan, Walter Peggs Jr. and Timothy Reilly were all named to the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Monday.

The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The five awards mark the most in a single season in program history.

Erdtmann averaged a career-high 3.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He also recorded career-highs in every major statistical category including points, rebounds and assists. The Berkeley, Calif., native held a 3.57 GPA and is studying management/marketing.

Knowles averaged 5.3 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting 60% from the floor in his first season as a Badger. The junior out of Abaco, Bahamas maintained a 3.44 GPA while pursuing his degree in digital marketing.

Lenihan was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for the second year in a row. This season he averaged a career-high 4.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. He led SHC with a 1.55 assist-to-turnover ratio. The junior from Cork, Ireland owned a 3.68 GPA and is a financial economics major.

Peggs was named a BOXTOROW DII HBCU All-American and earned CSC Academic All-District honors in his first season on The Hill. He was also named to the SIAC All-Conference First Team , recognized as the SIAC Player of the Week on three occasions and Newcomer of the Week once. He led the team with 461 points, 17.1 points per game, 145 field goals and 82 3-pointers while starting in every game for SHC this season. The Jackson, Tenn., native owned a 3.43 GPA and is working to complete his sports management degree.

Reilly earned CSC Academic All-District honors and led the team with 201 rebounds and 67 blocks, which was also good for second in the SIAC and 10th in the country. He also set career highs in every major statistical category while starting every game for the Badgers. The junior from Saint Petersburg, Fla., held a 3.67 GPA while working towards his biology/pre-health degree.
