Spring Hill wins 2023-24 SIAC Women’s Commissioner’s Cup
ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced that Spring Hill College won the 2023-24 SIAC Women's Commissioner's Cup at the 2024 SIAC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Wednesday.

The SIAC Commissioner's Cups are presented to the member institutions with the best combined men's, women's and overall performances in conference championships. The honor marks the second for the department since its first full season as an NCAA Division II member in 2018-19.

"This award is the culmination of all the hard work that our women student-athletes and their coaches put in on a daily basis," said Athletic Director Joe Niland. "These student-athletes sacrifice on a daily basis to excel both in their sport but also in their respective academic endeavors. The Commissioner's Cup is their reward and we congratulate them."

The awards are based on a point system, 10 points for conference titles, seven for runner-up championship finishes and four for third-place championship finishes.

The Badgers took home the 2023-24 SIAC Women's Commissioner's Cup with 24 total points, winning conference championships in both softball and volleyball. Spring Hill also took third place at the women's tennis conference championship.
