MOBILE, Ala. – Luke Barnes and Nicholas Couchard were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, CSC announced Tuesday.

The Academic All-District program recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to earn a spot on the All-District Team, student-athletes must be a starter and maintain at least a 3.50 GPA.
 
Barnes was named the SIAC Golfer of the Month on April 9. He smashed his career tournament score record with a 227 at the Jay Jennison Cup. Barnes also carded a career-low round score of 73 at the same tournament. Barnes held a 3.57 GPA while completing his sports management degree.
 
Couchard finished third individually at the SIAC Championship. This season he recorded one top-5 and one top-10 finish. He held a 3.52 GPA while finishing his financial economics degree.
 
The pair of awards marked the first for both Badgers and the second-straight year that the program has been represented on the all-district team
