MOBILE, Ala. –
Abigail Remick,
Quincy Curley,
Grant Nastasi and
Zachary Thomas all earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Remick was named to the academic all-district team for the second year in a row. She earned a 3.84 GPA and is pursuing a degree in biology/pre-health. Remick took the runner-up spot in the pole vault at this year's SIAC Championships and set a personal record of 5.55m at the Southern Miss. Invitational.

This is the first all-district honor of Curley's career after he posted a 3.61 GPA while working to complete his health care management degree. He marked his career-best finish and mark (13.11m) in the triple jump at the SIAC Championships. Curley also tallied two top-5 finishes and one top-10 finish in the same event over the course of the season.

Nastasi broke program records in the 100m (10.70), 200m (22.07) and was part of the record-breaking 4x100m team (41.95). He picked up his first career win in the 100m at the South Alabama Invitational. Nastasi owned a 3.79 GPA and is a management accounting major.

Thomas picked up his first career win in the 3000m steeplechase at the Doc Anderson Invitational & Multi. He also finished fifth in the same event and seventh in the 5000m at the SIAC Championships. Thomas broke his 1500m personal record and finished seventh at the Southern Miss Invitational with a time of 4:22.94. He held a 3.95 GPA and is working towards a pure computer science degree.
