MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team completed its series sweep against LeMoyne-Owen with a 7-0 shutout victory on Sunday at Murray Field.

Amanda Glowacki paced the Badgers (17-13, 16-0 SIAC) at the plate with 2 RBI and one run scored on one hit in three at-bats.
Meadow Villar went 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base while scoring two runs.
Cat McCulley also doubled while going 2-for-3 and crossed the plate once.

Leighanna Turk (5-7) won in the circle while striking out six batters and scattering three hits with no runs over 4.0 innings.

The shutout victory marked Spring Hill's sixth-straight win and the third-consecutive conference series sweep.

How It Happened
- B1 | Glowacki singled to right field to score both Rycca Hinton and Macy Holt. Taylor Pittman sacrificed to center field and Glowacki scored on a throwing error by the center fielder. McCulley grounded out to the shortstop and Villar scored on the throw home, Spring Hill 4-0.
- B6 | McKenzie King singled to center field to score Villar. Alexis Yuratich doubled to center field to bring McCulley home. Oscha Carter singled to the infield to score King, Spring Hill 7-0.
