MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team came away with a 5-2 win against Doane (Neb.) at the Copeland-Cox (Mobile) Tennis Center on Monday.

Matthew Pirie and
Jack Robinson started things off for the Badgers (9-4, 6-0 SIAC) with a  6-1 win in doubles on the No. 3 court.
Charles Wallace and
Noah Eberhard also secured a point with a 6-1 win on the No. 2 court. Paul-Philip Kern and
Tom Gutermann finished up the doubles point for SHC, winning 6-3 in the No. 1 spot.

Robinson once again would find himself on the winning side, after defeating his opponent in singles 6-3, 6-1, followed by a 6-3, 6-4 win by Eberhard. Gutermann was able to pull off a tough win 2-6, 6-4, 10-6. Kern would finish off singles play for Spring Hill, winning a tough game 6-7 (4-0), 4-6, 10-5.
