GULF BREEZE, Fla. – The Spring Hill College women's golf team placed fifth out of seven teams at the Argonaut Invitational on Tuesday.

The Badgers recorded a two-round team score of 646 (322-324) over the 5,859-yard, par-72 course and were 38 strokes back from the host, West Florida, who took home the win while shooting 608 (308-300). Union's Brooklyn Verdugo (73-72—145) won medalist honors at the event.

Evie Graves led SHC in 10
th place (82-77—159) followed by
Mary Catherine McDaniel (78-85) and
Molly Kirkman (84-79), who tired for 18
th while shooting 163.
Olivia Leinart (83-83—166) tied for 24th individually at the event.
Natalia Michas, who was in the No. 3 spot in the lineup, withdrew before the start of the second round.
Spring Hill also fielded a "B" team that finished seventh (354-342—696).
Michelle Lorio placed 28
th with a final score of 167 (82-85), followed by Madeline Zimmerman and Kitrie Noe tied for 32
nd, who both shot a 171 (87-84).
Caroline Luck (98-89—187) finished 38
th, while Ashely Burroughs (98-93—191) placed 39
th.
