VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team's season ended after a 4-0 loss to No. 1 Valdosta State in the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis South Regional at the VSU Tennis Complex on Friday.
The 8-seed Badgers (16-9, 10-0 SIAC) made their NCAA Tournament debut in the opening-round match against the undefeated Blazers (18-0, 9-0 GSC). Both teams won their respective conference championships to land spots in the tournament.
Spring Hill was swept on all courts in singles and doubles play in the 4-0 loss to Valdosta State. VSU will now move on to face the No. 4 seed, West Florida, on Saturday in the regional final.
