MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's tennis team fell to cross-town rival Mobile, 5-2, in a non-conference match at the Gerald L. Wallace Tennis Center on Tuesday.

The Badgers (16-8, 10-0 SIAC) fell to the Rams (8-5, 1-5 SSAC) after losing the doubles point and fighting back hard in singles play. Spring Hill started in the lead in doubles after winning on court No. 1, 6-4. SHC lost on court No. 3 (6-4) and then fell 7-5 in the doubles-clinching game. In singles play, UM took a 3-1 lead before the Badgers answered with two straight wins on the 2 and 3 court. The Rams clinched the match on the No. 4 court and solidified the 5-2 win on the No. 6 court.
