TAVARES, Fla – The Spring Hill College Sandy Badgers beach volleyball team split results against Carson Newman, 3-0, and Saint Leo, 3-2, in the silver bracket of the AVCA Small College Beach Championship at Hickory Point Beach on Saturday.
 
Spring Hill (16-14) swept Carson-Newman (25-8), 3-0, to start off its run in the silver bracket. The Sandy Badgers then fell to in a close 3-2 loss to Saint Leo (15-12) in the silver bracket final. SHC finishes the season as the runner-up in the Division II silver bracket at the AVCA Small College Beach Championship.
