BATON ROUGE, La. – The Spring Hill College Sandy Badgers beach volleyball fell to nationally-ranked (#13) Washington, 4-1, and Southern Miss, 4-1, at the Tiger Beach Challenge on Saturday.
 
Spring Hill fell to both Division I opponents 4-1. Washington was ranked 13th overall in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. 

Brooke Borgmeyer and Elizabeth Hardouin won on court No. 4 against the Huskies 21-14, 21-13. Against the Golden Eagles, Emily Weinzapfel and Lily Mascari won their match on court No. 5, 21-18, 16-21, 18-16.
