GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Spring Hill College Sandy Badgers beach volleyball team defeated Mobile (5-0) and Huntingdon (4-1) during the first day of the Badger Ram Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Ala., on Thursday.
 
Spring Hill swept the Mobile Rams, 5-0, in the first match of the event. The Badgers improved to 2-3 while UM fell to 3-5.

The Badgers finished the day against Huntingdon, where they defeated the Hawks 4-1 to move up to 3-3 on the season.
