HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill College men's golf team placed fourth out of 16 teams in the Carey Collegiate Classic at Canebreak Country Club on Tuesday.
The Badgers shot a three-round team score of 890 (300-288-302) over the 6,891-yard, par-72 course and were 17 strokes back from host school William Carey, who took home the tournament win while shooting 873 (285-296-292). Lindsey Wilson's Janik Hawlitzky (71-70-71—212) earned medalist honors at the event. Redshirt junior
Brennan Dolnick (72-69-73) finished just behind Hawlitzky and tied for second individually after carding a final score of 214.
Rasmus Malmborg (76-69-77—223) tied for 13th, followed by
Jackson Maniscalco (78-77-71—226), who tied for 25th.
Brayden Seguin (76-72-79) tied for 30th with a tournament score of 227.
Chris Brignet (81-80-82—243) tied for 67th overall.
Up Next
The Badgers will head to Athens, Ala., on March 27th to compete in the Bulldog Bash, hosted by Union (Tenn.).
