JASPER, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team remains undefeated in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play (5-0) after defeating Savannah State, 5-1, and Allen, 23-0, at Memorial Park on Monday.
The Badgers started the final day of play at the SIAC Crossover off with a 5-1 victory over the Tigers of Savannah State while being led by
Macy Holt, who tallied two hits, one RBI and one run in four at bats. Spring Hill then went on to break the program record in runs scored in a single game with a 23-0 shutout victory over Allen.
Paityn Desormeaux led the charge with three RBIs, three runs and two hits in two at bats. SHC improved to 5-0 in SIAC play and looks to keep the momentum going against in-state conference rival Tuskegee on Saturday.
