JACKSON, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team was downed, 85-69, by Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) foe Lane at the Oman Arena on Monday evening.

Despite a strong outing in the fourth quarter, including a 30-25 performance in the quarter over the Dragons and holding them to zero made three-pointers in three straight quarters, the Badgers were defeated in their final road conference game of the regular season 85-69.

Ariel Thompson led scoring while putting together a double-double performance that featured 25 points and 14 rebounds. Brailyn Tate also recorded a double double for Lane with 21 points and 20 rebounds.
