On the game
"This was a close loss at home and our guys showed tremendous grit coming back from down 20. We finally got
Tana Kopa back on the floor but now we are playing without
Isaiah Veal as our point guard. There is just no substitute for experience. Three of Tuskegee's starters had more combined experience than our first six. Give them credit because they showed the value of playing five years or so. Boyd, Dulley and Booker are tremendous ball players and hit some big shots. Besides being really good ball players, they are really fine young men and it has been a privilege for us to compete against them. Our guys are young and don't know how the word "quit". I am so proud of them. Patience will pay off with this group of ours."
