FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell to Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) west division foe Kentucky State, 67-51, at the William Exum Center on Monday night.

The Badgers kept things close only being down 14-13 in the first quarter. Kentucky State stretched its lead over Spring Hill to 27-20 by halftime. SHC outscored KSU in the third quarter (17-14) to cut the Thorobred lead to four points (41-37). Kentucky State held on and downed Spring Hill 67-51 in the end.

Tyashia Bostick led the game in scoring with 18 points while narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds. KSU was led by Laurie Thomas, who had 16 points, five rebounds and two assists.
