Men's Golf finishes successful 2021-2022 at South Regionals
VALDOSTA, Ga. (May 7, 2022) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's golf team finished the third and final round of play at the 2022 NCAA Division II South Region Men's Golf Championships on Saturday with a +33 round of 321 at Kinderlou Forest Golf Course.
 
Spring Hill closed the event in 20th place out of 20 teams with a +59 total score of 923 (298, 304, 321) at the 7,420-yard, par 72 course.
 
Brennan Dolnick was the top Badger finisher at 93rd place out of 107 golfers with a score of 229 (76, 76, 77, +13) while Brayden Seguin was in 95th place in 230 (72, 74, 84, +14) strokes.
 
Yannik Wessel shot a +16 score of 232 for 98th place with rounds of 76, 78, and 78 as Rasmus Malmborg ended in 102nd place with a +18 score of 234 (74, 76, 84) and Pete Schilli was in 105th place with a tally of 238 strokes (76, 80, 82, +22).
 
The Badgers enjoyed a successful season in 2021-2022, winning the program's first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championship and advancing to its first South Region playoff since transitioning to NCAA Division II to begin the 2014-2015 year.
