ATLANTA, Ga. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team lost a closely-contested conference game on the road to Clark Atlanta, 68-64, at L.S. Epps Gymnasium on Saturday.
The Badgers trailed the Panthers 36-26 at halftime and held the lead until the fourth quarter, when
Emyria Harris hit a three-pointer and started a 6-0 scoring run for the Badgers, which gave them a 60-54 lead. Clark Atlanta came back late in the quarter and defeated Spring Hill 68-64.
The Badgers were led by freshman
Iamunique Bowie, who recorded a season-high 14 rebounds and 13 points. Denise Stine led the game with 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

"We had our chances to win tonight but we missed four layups at the end that cost us the game. My young kids are taking a little longer than I thought to get used to the physicality of the game. Nevertheless, we have to keep working to get out the kinks to hopefully start getting some win soon."
