Men’s basketball downs Eagles for second win of the season

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team downed Pensacola Christian 80-43 for its second win of the season at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Tuesday night.

The Badgers dominated the Eagles throughout the entire game, not allowing any score changes after taking the lead in the opening moments. SHC put up a record-setting 39 three-pointer attempts, the most since Spring Hill faced Faulkner in 2009 (29). The Badgers dominated the Eagles 80-43 for their second win of the season.
 
Steven Lyles led the game while recording a double-double with a season-high 22 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 100 percent from the free throw line. He tallied season highs in attempts from the floor (18), three-pointers made (3) and attempted (9). Pensacola Christian was led by Austin Lewis, who picked up eight points and four rebounds.
